After playing for a while, I got bored of the look of Minecraft, so I went and downloaded a texture pack and uploaded a skin. I chose a zombie skin, so that when I'm online I can hopefully scare the shit outta people, and I chose the best texture pack I could find. The LB photo realism pack 256x256 pixels instead of the regular 16x16.
I also found this, pretty sure that it's not possible, but anyway...
Yeah, floating sand. Guess the world gen screwed up. Still kinda cool, thinking of building a base on it.

First Day in minecraft
My first day in Minecraft. I created a world, loaded it up and then started at the huge world which started to unfold in front of me. When I spawned all I could see were trees, snow on the ground and pigs. Alot of pigs. The first thing I did of course was to kill the pigs. They dropped some kind of bacon or some shit. I had no idea what the hell I was supposed to do with it, but it felt good that I had made my first kills in Minecraft.
I then ran around killing as much stuff as I could find, all the while digging random holes in the ground. I had a decent amount of stuff in my inventory when it began to get dark. I was getting bored, and was about to start digging another hole, when I heard a "ughhhhh". Scared the shit outta me. I quickly flipped around and saw zombies and other various beings approaching. I started to run, but they were everywhere and I was outnumbered. I ran out of my bacon and only managed to kill a few before I was overwhelmed.
Staring at the screen, trying to figure out what had just happened, I had my first Minecraft rage quit. I then spent the next several hours playing COD and BC2. Then later on when all of my friends had gone to bed, I decided to give it another try. I went onto youtube and found a survival tutorial.

Very simple and easy to follow, the guy did a good job with it.
Once I knew how to create simple things like crafting benches and furnaces, I got busy and started to create my lair. All it consisted of was a deep hole in the ground, with torches. The guy in the movie convinced me that I could make a better base later, I just followed what he said and survived!
